draping on the stand

To create the patterns for the appliqué on the top, I began using a similar weight and texture of fabric to drape on the stand, creating the gathered effect that I was looking for. I'll be creating the waist and shoulder pieces as separate patterns because the appliqué being asymmetrical and to keep the seam lines clean and accurate in terms, of placement. I'll also be keeping the pattern pieces separate because the gathers that I'll be creating will be random to create more volume in certain areas like the shoulder and under the bust.
