Euphoria

Researching a topic to read up on for my contextual studies, I was inspired by Euphoria (2019). Euphoria is an American teen drama that follows the lives of a group of troubled teens.

Focusing on the stylist and where the inspiration came from, I found costume designer, Heidi Bivens who found the inspiration for the Euphoria wardrobe on Instagram and with real teen streetwear.

Bivens sources the pieces for Euphoria from a wide range of sources. High street and mid-range brands like Cotton Citizen and Reformation, cult and heritage fashion tables, from Eckhaus Latta to Jean Paul Gaultier are represented, as well as a number of other brands.*
